Quinta Familia - Set in a conservation area of outstanding natural beauty, above the hamlet of Cerro das Covas on top of a hill overlooking a valley, Quinta Familia offers flexible accommodation for couples, on a room-by-room basis, through to larger parties taking the full first floor.

Accommodation offers two large en-suite rooms, each suitable for parties of 1 – 3, each with its own individual terrace one facing sunrise and the other sunset, accessible by a separate entrance and separate parking area.  A private, sparkling, clear blue pool 8metres * 4 metres, poolside terrace and barbeque area, is set behind the house and raised up on the hill with views of the surrounding hills and valley, and is available for the use of guests.

Each room has its own fridge and tea and coffee making facilities for your comfort and the pool and barbeque area has its own dedicated summer kitchen for your refreshments around the pool or your meals, self catering and al fresco.  We are happy to provide a hearty fresh breakfast, on the front terrace for you to enjoy the views from the front of the Quinta.

Whether you are looking to relax by the pool, catch up with your reading in the hammock, enjoy a romantic drink watching the sun go down from your terrace or fill your days with trips to the beaches and water parks, adventures of deep sea fishing and dolphin trips, seeking out the history of the region, shopping till you drop or indulging in a leisurely game of golf, Quinta Familia is an ideal base to discover the real Portugal.

Accommodation in detail

Parking spaces for two cars at the rear of the Quinta leads to a private rear staircase entrance to the complete 1st floor of the farmhouse, with 2 separate rooms (guests have their own keys to come and go as they wish).

Accommodation options

• One Room has a King Size bed and a Single bed.
• One Room has a King Size bed, plus a Single bed can be added if required.
• The whole first floor can be booked out to larger parties.

Note: All windows and doors have shutters to keep the room cool and built-in mosquito nets for your comfort. There is also a small frame for drying towels/clothes etc.
