Set in a conservation area of outstanding natural beauty, above the hamlet of Cerro das Covas on top of a hill overlooking a valley, Quinta Familia offers flexible accommodation for families and friends.

Our accommodation offers two large en-suite bedrooms, The Sunrise room sleeps 2 and the Sunset room sleeps 3. Each room has it’s own individual terrace. The Sunrise room enjoys the morning sunrise, and the Sunset room, the evening sunset. Both rooms are accessible from the parking area.

A welcome pack, with some essentials, will be here for you on your arrival.This includes milk tea coffee eggs bread plus a few other bits.

A private, sparkling, clear blue pool 8 metres x 4 metres. The poolside terrace and barbeque area, are set behind the house and raised upon the hill with views of the surrounding hills and valley, and is available for the use of guests.

Each room has its own fridge and tea and coffee making facilities for your comfort with a summer kitchen adjacent to the pool for your refreshments or making your meals, self catering al fresco.

Whether you just want to relax by the pool, catch up with your reading or enjoy a romantic drink and watch the sun go down from your terrace, take trips to the beaches or water parks, experience the adventure of deep sea fishing or dolphin watching, seek out the history of the region, shop till you drop or even indulge in a leisurely game of golf. Quinta Familia is the ideal base to discover the real Portugal.

Parking for two cars is at the rear of the Quinta, there are stairs leading to the accommodation, and steps to the gated pool terrace area.

Accommodation options

The Sunset room has a Queen Size bed and a Single Bed.

The Sunrise room has a Queen Size Bed.

Note: All windows and doors have shutters to keep the rooms cool and built-in mosquito nets for your comfort. There are small frames on the terraces for drying towels/clothes etc.
